Ben Edwards, born Benjamin Allen Edwards, was raised in Ohio and now resides in Phoenix, AZ.

Ben started performing as a magician’s assistant for the world-renowned Curtis Lovell II in junior high, where he discovered his passion for reaching people through storytelling. He went on to join the U.S. Army in January 2001 and ranked Sergeant in under three years. During his military career, he was awarded Solider of the Year for the 4th Infantry Division and served two years of combat in Iraq.

In 2007, Ben retired from the Army to pursue acting and moved to Hollywood, CA and studied at the Acting Corp. He been acting steadily for the past 10 years, mainly in film.

Outside of acting, Ben enjoys fitness and volunteering. His passion to serve and help others and his experience in the military led him to become a PTSD Clinic Social Worker and Crisis Dispatcher in Phoenix. He also studied Social Work and Industrial and Organizations Psychology at Arizona State University, and recently received his Master’s Degree in Social Work. Ben became a certified Zumba instructor in 2009, and served as a Chandler Fire Department Crisis Response Specialist and PTSD Therapist.
